The NBA All-Star weekend has passed and tipped off with a success in the Sprint All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday in Houston.  Comedian Kevin Hart took the MVP, for the second consecutive year, despite having only 5 points in the West victory of the East.

Hart knows how to work the crowd and keep everyone laughing as seen in this clip where he calls out Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt and challenges him to a foot race.

The Friday night celebrity game was followed up by the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge as Kenneth Faried put up an impressive 40 point show, enough for him to take home the MVP.

Saturday was packed full of events with many former NBA greats and celebrities coming together to make Houston the place to be this weekend.  The events began with few people in the crowd for the Sears Shooting Stars but as the night pressed on the Toyota Center began to fill up.

Young players took over the show as rookie Damian Lillard beat Jrue Holiday to take the Taco Bell Skills Challenge trophy home.  Sophomore Kyrie Irving made a name for himself as he took place in multiple events this weekend but stole the show with an incredible performance in the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest.

Once again a young star took center stage as rookie Terrence Ross made a name for himself as he won the Sprite Slam Dunk title.

The big event, the NBA All-Star Game presented by Kia, was a success as Chris Paul became the first Clipper to win an All-Star MVP.  Paul posted an impressive 20 points and 15 assists en route to winning the MVP, but more important to him winning the Game.

Chris Paul makes some spectacular ball handling plays only to be followed up by similar antics from veteran Tony Parker.

Many players and celebrities also took to social media throughout the weekend.  Here is a recap of some of the best Instagram pictures and Tweets:
